The Otto Benjamin MA-500 viola outfit offers the advancing player an instrument with a strong tonal presence. The MA-500 outfit features a premium spruce top combined with highly flamed select aged maple back and sides. The beauty of the viola body is complemented with a multi-layered antique spirit varnish and all-boxwood fittings. The instrument is finished with genuine hand-inlaid ebony purfling and a quality ebony fingerboard. The MA-500 also features a quality maple bridge and Thomastik Dominant strings. Set-up and adjusted in an affiliated U.S. workshop, this outfit is available in 15-17-inch sizes and comes complete with a Pernambuco bow and oblong case, complete with four bow holders, hygrometer, string tube and instrument blanket.
